Voglio dire che tali emissioni devono essere analizzate anche e soprattuto in chiave di consumo delle risorse energetiche che la terra ha accumulato in milioni di anni. E da questo punto di vista l'Italia è l'unico fra i paesi industrializzati (e non solo) che produce tutta l'energia di cui ha bisogno con tali risorse: petrolio e gas naturale. L'Italia è l'unico paese che non produce un solo Kilowatt di energia utilizzando l'unica fonte energetica alternativa che permette di ottenere un bilancio energetico positivo e di gran lunga: l'energia nucleare.
