Possiamo vedere che alle ore 00:00 circa c'è una tendenza al rialzo dell'USD nei confronti dell'EUR. Questo è il momento di entrare in Buy (acquisto) di Dollari e contemporaneamente Sell (vendere) Euro. Notiamo che il valore del Dollaro in questo orario è 1,4200. Ipotizziamo di acquistarne per 1.000 USD, controlliamo l'andamento e vediamo che le oscillazioni sono molto frequenti, ci sono segnali di colore verde che indicano il rialzo, mentre i segnali di colore rosso portano la valuta al ribasso. Mantenendo la posizione in acquisto fino alle ore 07:00, dove abbiamo il culmine del rialzo e chiudendo la posizione in quel momento abbiamo una differenza di valore che va dai 1,4200 iniziali a 1,4305 pari a 0,0105 pips (unità di misura monetaria).
